Welcome to Metropolis Digital Studios (MetropolisDS). My name is Derrick Peachey. I have just completed my education at Fanshawe College's 2 year Multimedia and Design program. I am 21 years old and I currently live in Niagara Falls, Canada. I have three years experience in both Motion Graphics and Graphics Design. I specialize in programs such as After Effects, Photoshop, illustrator, Cinema 4D and Final Cut Pro. I have both English and Spanish roots. I became interested in Motion Graphics and design at a young age, watching the newest movie trailers became an obsession.

In my spare time, I like to research and learn new ways to expand my creativity and knowledge as a designer and as a person. I am always working on my own "fun" projects. I do have fun, and enjoy going to the movies regularly. Some of my current favourite movies include Gone in 60 seconds, Transformers, Avatar, Inception, and Fast Five. I do enjoy video games by companies like Ubisoft, Bungie, Epic Games, Activision, and EA to name a few. I love sports and played them all my life and those experiences have been crucial when working on team projects. I have two crazy younger brothers. My father is Canadian and mi mama es Mexican(meh-he-cana).
